New Life Mission seeks to glorify God by ministering to the needs of homeless women and their children. We work to permanently break the cycle of homelessness in these families by providing housing, access to health care, transportation, education, job and life skills training in a safe, Christ-centered residential setting. The 12-24 month program is designed to lovingly transform families from dependency to self-sufficiency through daily accountability, personal responsibility and goal advancement with guidance administered from a Biblical perspective.
Core Values
While words such as 'integrity', 'accountability' and 'excellence' certainly describe characteristics that our organization strives to embody, our core values are ones that can't be expressed through words—and only exist as an extension of our actions. This includes taking everyday steps for our board of directors, staff and residents to:
- Inspire hope
- Demand excellence in everything we do
- Create leaders centered on stewardship (time, talent and treasure)
- Respect each person as an individual
- Demonstrate integrity and accountability
- Move toward and demonstrate self-sufficiency through teamwork and mentoring
- Commit to spiritual, emotional, social, and vocational growth
- Maintain an environment that fosters teamwork, success and trust
Identity
At New Life Mission, we've worked hard to establish our identity as a faith-based, fiscally responsible, innovative, and valuable outreach to community members in need. And through tangible services, ongoing ministry, and various unique programs, we hope to further grow and strengthen our role within and throughout the Brevard community.
