Women’s Case Manager

In our long-term transformational program, homeless women with children receive housing, access to health care, education, financial coaching, job training, Bible study and life skills classes in a safe, Christ-centered residential setting. The program is designed to lovingly transform families from dependency to self-sufficiency through daily accountability, personal responsibility and goal advancement.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Case Manager is responsible for determining the needs of the families in the program, accessing and linking participants to resources, and holding them accountable for progress toward goals. Case Managers communicate frequently with assigned students, conduct individual case management sessions, and track the progress of each student and the family as a whole. Case load may be up to ten families. This position may require some evening/weekend hours and calls/text messages after hours.

REQUIRED SKILLS

· Patience, empathy and the ability to have hard conversations and provide loving correction

· Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills

· Exceptional time management skills

· Ability to work well with a team and collaborate on out-of-the-box solutions

· Ability to write clear, concise, accurate case notes and other communications

· Proficient in computer applications including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

SALARY/HOURS/LOCATION

Full-time 40 hours per week
Starting salary range $38,000 - $40,000
Paid Time Off (PTO), 9 Holidays
Health insurance and Simple IRA match available
Position located in Melbourne, Florida

The 12-24 month program is designed to lovingly transform families from dependency to self-sufficiency through daily accountability, personal responsibility and goal advancement with guidance administered from a Biblical perspective.
